Kesar Manda Gold News Letter
  • Promising Exploration results identified
The Manda Resource Owners Association has initiated what is probably the first landowners resource prospecting and ownership after Highlands Pacific’s prospecting license was not renewed. The Manda Landowners Association called in the local Wemoho Geological and Geotechnical Services which carried out a review of the exploration data of the Kesar Manda creek prospect.
  • The Principal geologist of Wemoho, Mr. Harry Koima said " the review was done to define prospecting targets for further exploration and economic evaluation of the gold deposit area at the request of the Manda Resources Owners. The information and data in the final report would be used to open up negotiations with interested partners”.

  • The final 30-page report in its executive summary identified three promising targets:
    - Porphyry Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Target
    - Carbonate-Base metal Gold Vein Target
    - Skarn Alteration and Gold mineralization Target

The geological review results confirm the Manda peoples long –held belief and confirmation of samples of rare minerals they have collected — they believe they are sitting on a lucrative major gold deposit. We could be sitting on a major lobe and any interested partner will have to come and negotiate with us to extract it.
The Manda Landowners are now taking on a major media awareness and marketing campaign to expose their “hidden treasure” and to attract any interested partners to help them develop the mine.

Mt URONE one of the 12 low-lying sprawling mountains that form a natural wall around the Manda gold and rare-minerals deposit . Out of the mountains natural creeks of fresh mountain water stream out and meet up in the MANDA CREEK which then meanders out to form the headwaters of the mighty Ramu River and rolls out down to the huge Ramu plains and the scenic coastal township of Madang .
